Who we are

Vonkam Home Services is a trading name of VONKAM LLC. When this page says “we” or “us,” it means VONKAM LLC. You can reach us at (617) 812-5319 or michel@vonkam.com.

What we collect

We only collect what we need to quote a job, schedule it and send a crew:

• Your name, phone number and the address where the work would happen
• Your ZIP code, which we use to work out which crew can reach you
• Which service you are asking about, and notes about your system
• The messages you send us, and our replies

We do not ask for and do not want your Social Security number, your bank account numbers or your card numbers. Payment is handled in person by the crew on the day of service.

How we collect it

Through Facebook and Instagram Messenger when you reply to one of our ads or message our page, by phone call or text message, and by anything you tell us directly.

Automated replies in Messenger

When you message us on Facebook or Instagram, an automated assistant may answer first so you are not left waiting. It asks the same questions a person would: what you need cleaned, your ZIP code, your phone number and a time. You can ask for a person at any point and we will take over the conversation. If you reply STOP to a text message, we stop texting you.

Who else sees it

• The crew assigned to your job. Cleaning is performed by subcontracted crews. The crew doing your job gets your name, address, phone number and what needs cleaning, and nothing else.
• Meta (Facebook and Instagram), because the conversation happens on their messaging platform and is subject to their own privacy policy.
• Twilio, which carries our phone calls and text messages.
• Supabase, where our job records are stored.

We do not sell your information, we do not rent it, and we do not hand it to data brokers or lead resellers.

How long we keep it

We keep job records for as long as we need them to service the work and keep our own books. If you ask us to delete your information and there is no completed job that we still need the record for, we delete it.

Your choices

Email michel@vonkam.com and ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Tell us the phone number or address you used so we can find the right record. We answer within 30 days.

Children

This is a home services business. Our site and our ads are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy we will change the date at the top of this page.
