Terms of Service

Last updated 19 October 2026

Who you are dealing with

Vonkam Home Services is a trading name of VONKAM LLC. Vonkam takes your booking, sets the price and stands behind the job. The cleaning itself is performed by subcontracted crews that Vonkam dispatches. We work in Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island.

Prices and quotes

The prices on this site are for standard residential jobs. A standard dryer vent cleaning is $99 flat. Air duct cleaning is $99 per heating/AC system, so a home with two systems is $198. That covers the main duct system; supply vents and registers are checked on site and quoted separately before anything starts.

We inspect first and give you a written price before any work starts. Nothing gets added to that price without your OK. If what we find is outside the standard scope — a roof termination, a nest to remove, a system larger or more complicated than usual, or a multi-family building — we quote it in writing on site and you decide then.

If we inspect your system and it does not need the service, we tell you so and you do not pay for cleaning you do not need.

Paying

There is no deposit. You pay the day the work is done, once it is done.

Scheduling

Arrival windows are estimates, not guarantees. The crew calls you the morning of the job with an ETA. You can cancel or move an appointment by calling or messaging us. We may need to reschedule for weather, access problems or a crew emergency, and if we do we will tell you as soon as we know.

Someone over 18 needs to be at the property to let the crew in and to approve the written price.

What is not included

We clean air ducts, dryer vents and chimneys. We are not doing HVAC repair, duct replacement, electrical or plumbing work. We do not handle asbestos, mold remediation or pest extermination. If we find any of those, or a system that cannot be reached safely, we stop and tell you instead of working around it.

If your home has no forced-air system — steam or hot water heat, for instance — there are no ducts to clean, and we will say so before you pay for anything.

About duct cleaning generally

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency does not recommend air duct cleaning as routine maintenance and makes no health claims for it. We make no health claims either. We inspect, we show you photographs of what is actually in your system, and you decide.

If something goes wrong

Tell us within 14 days of the job and we will come back out. Our responsibility for any single job is limited to the amount you paid for that job. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, or for failures in equipment that was already failing before we arrived.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
